CTO For Hire was engaged by an established SMB product development company to run training workshops for their in-house technical team.
Training covered three priority areas:
- Cloud Engineering Skills: Covering cloud automation, CI/CD, testing automation.
- Lean product delivery skills: slicing, estimating & iterative delivery practices along with product/project management techniques for software projects.
- Technical training on API Design practices, API management and several technical standards including OAuth2.
At 3 and 6 months post-training (with follow ups and check-ins) the team was shipping updates to customers twice as fast as before, with noticeable uplift in the repeatability of their release processes. The business had increased confidence in their processes to hire additional technical staff to the team.
